Psychological insight: Wow. This is really an example of FOMO. Customers apparently fighting among themselves in their desperation to buy a doll. One of the secrets appears to be ‘blind bags’, whereby customers don’t know which doll they have purchased until after they have checked out. Obviously, many customers then purchase multiple blind bags as they seek a specific doll or want to complete the collection
